#1. Welcome! My mission statement.

Welcome back! Email newsletter? Mission statement.

This “newsletter” is for you, my friends and colleagues.
Let’s call it a “letter” because it will not focus on news, and I will write it in a letter format.

I was probably like you; I had no respect for emails. I have been a hard-core social media user. Honestly, I never thought I would come back to writing emails. Recently, I changed my mind, but that is a story for another day.

You probably remember me from Chicago Google Technology Developers conferences, Mobile Monday, or Chicago Android.

If not, welcome! I hope you will like what you find here.

The Chicago Android community had thousands of followers, and I organized and spoke at over a hundred full conferences and large meetups.
I moved from Android development to autonomous vehicles and moved to the Pacific Northwest.

I miss the community and idea exchange.

Let’s build a new community, this time NOT about fleeting technology news but based on something far more important to you, to all of us.

Today, most of you grew up and are architects, managers, and directors. Let’s build a community that is not based on the youth and enthusiasm I used to have but on our insight, experience, and desire to share the experiences.

My mission statement:

“A compendium of letters blending technology startup management, stoic philosophy, active lifestyle ethos, and a love for culture. It aims to mentor and inspire through insightful content and practical advice, focusing on personal and professional growth for a balanced and fulfilling life.”
